Recipe Notes
Finely grated ginger goes in during the mash and at flameout. The flavor is improved slightly by toasting the oats at 350°F until it smells like baking cookies. 
 
Tasting notes: 
This had a subtle ginger flavor and no ginger heat. Reseaching ginger beer would be helpful.
